Michael Hicks, director of the Center for Business and Economic Research at Ball State University, described recent announcements from two RV makers about new investment in Indiana’s Elkhart County, as “further evidence that we have indeed turned the corner” on the way to economic recovery. Hicks told Inside Indiana Business’ host Gerry Dick that Carbon Motors’ selection of Connersville, IN for its new headquarters and other consolidation-related decisions demonstrates hope for the that state’s economy.
