Experience Pinal County/Casa Grande

Just far enough away from big city excitement, Casa Grande, between Phoenix and Tucson, is a welcome retreat for RVers seeking a more rural setting. Shopping and services are plentiful here, serving rural communities in this western “Golden Corridor” of Pinal County.

This area is not as well known, as most are in a hurry to travel between Tucson and the greater Phoenix area. A more agricultural area, Pinal County’s priority is to encourage economic development to enhance its income base and retain workers locally. Western Pinal County has three distinct areas — the Gila River and Ak-Chin tribes near Maricopa, just south of Chandler; Casa Grande, Coolidge and Florence southeast; and Eloy/Arizona City further south off I-10. The Casa Grande Chamber, Sunland Visitor Center in Eloy and community chambers of commerce offer information on where to explore and enjoy this western portion of the county.

West of Casa Grande near Stanfield is Shamrock Farms, with an excellent farm tour of this Arizona dairy products company. The Dwarf Car Museum is also nearby. Northwest of Coolidge is the Casa Grande Ruins National Monument, a prehistoric site built by the Hohokam. Production is underway at Lucid Motors’ new manufacturing facility in Casa Grande with its new electric car and trucks rivaling its nearest competitors. Eloy has become the largest sky diving center in the world, with experienced staff, excellent facilities, great weather and drop zone for skydivers of all skill levels. There are plenty of family-owned and operated eateries, excellent antiquing, and a variety of unique finds in local stores. Come explore our hidden gems!
